DENSO Honored for Branded Manufacturer from APA

DENSO Products and Services Americas Inc. has received the branded manufacturer of the year award from the Automotive Parts Associates (APA). DENSO Products and Services Americas, Inc. is an automotive components sales, remanufacturing and distribution company.
 

The company was recognized for being first-to-market with new model-year parts and for quick turnaround times and high fill rates on replenishment orders. DENSO was also credited for superior cataloging and new product categories. "We're very pleased to be recognized by members of the APA, who represent the voice of the customer for DENSO," says Fran Labun, vice president of the sales. "The members of this group have helped to fuel our success."  
 

Automotive Parts Associates is a member-owned, not-for-profit cooperative made up of more than 110 independent warehouse distributors. APA's members have over 250 locations throughout the United States and Canada and represent over a billion dollars of purchasing power annually.
 

DENSO Products and Services Americas Inc. has added 238 parts to its starter and alternator catalog. The company's products now cover than 201.6 million units in operation (UIO) for alternators and 200.5 million UIO for starters. Currently, in North America, DENSO employs more than 17,000 people at 32 consolidated companies and affiliates. Of these, 28 are manufacturing facilities located in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. In the U.S. alone, DENSO employs more than 11,000 people in California, Michigan, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, Iowa, Ohio, and Arkansas.
