How Feed Pumps Work

Distributor pump works by sliding-vane supply pump system. The eccentric annulus, sliding vane, rotor and pump are installed in the inner end face. When the drive shaft rotates, the bond of feed pump drives the rotor rotation. The rotor turns four vane, sliding vane at the same time, making reciprocating movement in the cross slot. The end head of sliding vane is close to the inner wall of the eccentric strap, making oil-in area and oil-out area changed by moving along the surface oil-in area volume from large to small. The fuel with certain pressure is crushed out pressure oil region, completing the process of oil pumping. 

 

Pump pressure increases with the increasing rotation speed. On the one hand, it guarantees the pump cavity with full fuel and at the same time makes parts for lubrication and cooling. On the other hand, the output of the fuel pressure controls the action of the advanced device.
